physical properties
Appearance: Fine and uniform white powder, matte and soft, without coarse particle agglomeration
Density: 4.14~4.34 g/cm ³
Refractive index: 2.15, better coverage than zinc oxide, lower than titanium dioxide
Oil absorption: 10-14g/100g, good dispersibility, excellent rheological properties during coating processing
Thermal stability: not easily oxidized below 570 ℃, suitable for conventional plastic and baking paint processing temperatures
chemical properties
Insoluble in water, organic solvents, alkaline systems, excellent alkali resistance, suitable for wall latex paint and alkaline substrates
Not resistant to strong acids: When encountering dilute acids, it decomposes and releases hydrogen sulfide gas. It is forbidden to mix with acidic materials
Shortboard of light resistance: Long term exposure to ultraviolet radiation may cause slight graying, but it can restore its original color after avoiding light. It is recommended for indoor use
Moisture is prone to oxidation and clumping, and storage must be dry and ventilated to isolate water vapor and acidic substances
